EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE
My father had a number of salons where I grew up in Fargo, North Dakota. I can remember going to work with him on Saturdays and watching him connect with his guests. I was so inspired by how he was able to make someone feel so good by doing their hair. It was this experience that helped me realize how important the power of touch is. My Dad saw my interest and started taking me to Aveda hair shows at the Institute and State Theater. I would leave feeling completely motivated. After high school I went to NDSU for 3 years followed by a move to Minneapolis where I attended the Aveda Institute. I knew it was my calling to work in the industry that inspired me when I was young. Since attending the Institute, I have participated in many hair shows, Aveda Congress, been an Aveda Purefessional, and have also been lucky enough to find my home at Juut. It has now been 20 years since I began my professional career here, and I still wake up every day with a passion to make people’s day and a great love for my job!

INTERESTS + ABOUT ME
I love working with all spectrums of color, but have a special passion for blondes, adding length and thickness to hair with extensions, and overall making people feel beautiful about themselves. I am constantly inspired by the opportunity to make people feel amazing inside and out. Transforming someone, whether it be internally or externally, is what fuels my love for what I do. Outside of my love for the beauty industry, I enjoy cooking, gardening, and hanging out with my family!
