We at Juut Salonspa take great interest in giving back to the communities we serve. In an effort to concentrate our support, we have chosen to give to charities that mirror our business philosophies and the concerns of our guests. These charities include donations to women's health issues, children's organizations, endeavors that promote creative or artistic development, and environmental concerns. Beneficiaries are advised that a contribution in a particular situation is not an indication that support will continue on a regular basis.
Due to the tremendous amount of donation requests we receive, we have chosen to support the following organizations exclusively:
Second Harvest Food Bank/Feeding America
Feeding America (formerly known as Second Harvest) is the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity. Each year, the Feeding America network provides food assistance to more than 25 million low-income people facing hunger in the United States, including more than 9 million children and nearly 3 million seniors. Their network of more than 200 food banks serves all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. The Feeding America network secures and distributes more than 2 billion pounds of donated food and grocery products annually. Juut has helped this worthy organization with a food drive in our salons and also by raising money to purchase food. For more information visit www.feedingamerica.org.
Ronald McDonald House
The Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home for families with children who have life-threatening illnesses. We are proud to support this worthy cause in the Twin Cities and in California. Juut service providers regularly donate their time and talents to help these families.
