Diary of a Daymaker
New York is one of my favorite places to be in the fall. Seeing fashion come alive on the streets, in the stores, and watching such a diverse population interpret the season is always inspiring. Each year there is a beauty show called Intercoiffure at the Waldorf Astoria. The best salons from around the world are invited and I've been fortunate to be a member since 1989. Myself along with a number of artists from our Juut team took in the show and came away energized! The best hair artists in the world presented some amazing work that was all topped off by a visit from Sarah Jessica Parker to honor Oribe, an incredible artist.
Aside from the show, I love to see what is happening with shops, restaurants, and galleries in New York City. My wife, Charlie, and our daughters, Coco and Ava, joined me for a few days as we explored the sights, sounds, tastes, and energy that is New York. We stayed at 60 Thompson in Soho.
