HER STORY:
Amellea was transformed at Juut Salonspa in Edina. Amellea, like so many of us, is a mix of so many different types of people...at times eccentric, yet shy...or trendily geeky yet a rocker at heart. What look can embrace all of those traits? We chose two looks for Amellea - the first look was edgy to help bring out a new frontwoman-of-a-rock-band attitude in Amellea. With her haircut, we gave her new layers and a dramatic, full bang and face frame to really accentuate her incredible eyes and facial features.

Amellea's second look was softer, a bit dreamy and beachy, more like Taylor Swift or Charlotte Gainsbourg. We added hair extensions, then styled Amellea's bangs in a side-swept look, which can be the great versatility of bangs when done well. We then added volume through the crown to accentuate her new longer hair length and styled it with lots of curls to add softness.

For her color, we added gold tones to her hair to better bring out the natural warmth in Amellea's skin tone. We also gave her a Smoothing Treatment to permanently smooth her hair and control the texture.
